Implementation
The second phase of the project involved designing and developing a series of implementation projects for local learning and teaching environments.
The project team began this task by clearly articulating learning designs and educational rationales associated with a series of emerging technologies. We were most interested in how communication, publishing and file–sharing technologies could be used for educational purposes. A number of implementation projects emerged from these discussions, which were refined to the five activities listed below.
These five activities were then implemented with the assistance of local teaching and administrative staff and students. We were keen to trial these projects across a range of discipline areas in the three universities.
