Student reflective journals through blogs
In this activity, Primary Education students each created their own online web log (blog) using the Sakai Blog Wow tool and posted to this blog while undertaking their school-based professional experience placement.
The focus of the activity was the students' reflections on the applicability within the classroom of their own theory driven approaches to classroom management as described in an earlier assignment. Students were required to post blog entries and to respond to other students' blog postings at specific intervals as part of the final assignment in the subject.
